Gathering and Using Data When Teaching with Nearpod
In this module you will:
- Learn how to use the results of interactive activities to drive instruction and give students feedback through sharing these results
- Choose interactive activities based on the kind of data you are trying to understand
- Learn how to insert activities "On-the-Fly"
- Learn how to help students recognize the feedback and have ownership in their learning
- Explore how reports can be used to help teachers interpret data from lessons in grade-level or subject area teams
For this module's assignment:
- Create and launch a presentation with students that contains at least 5 interactive activities (no more than 2 of the same kind of activity- ex. 2 polls, 2 quizzes, and 1 open-ended answer).
- Answer the following reflection questions following the delivery of the lesson with students:
- What was the overall objective of the lesson?
- Was this objective reached?
- What is one thing you learned about a student or your class?
- What will you change or improve upon for your next Nearpod lesson?
