Where's my Stuff?
One of the most frustrating things with iPads in the past has been the saving of files. iOS has no file structure like the MacOS or Windows. You couldn't just click save and then save it to the desktop for example. Most apps saved their files within the app. Some still do, but file management has gotten much easier and better over the past few years though thanks to improvement in iOS and app developers. This module will focus on helping you be able to save and find files more easily on the iPad. There are many apps that can help with this, but we will focus on what we think are the 3 major apps.
Files - The Files app brings all of your files together in iOS 11 or later. You can easily browse, search, and organize all your files in one place. Not just the ones on the device you're using, but also those in apps, on your other iOS devices, in iCloud Drive, and across other cloud services. Free, automatically downloads with iOS 11 or higher. 5 gigabyte storage included additional storage can be purchased. |
