Create Your Own Color Wheel
Objective:
Use MS Word, Paint or Photoshop to create your own unique wheel of color.
Directions:
Follow the steps below to create a Color Wheel
1. Find a color wheel on the internet to use as your reference.
2. You are to create your own, unique color wheel using shapes. Notice the sample on the wall uses blocks. You may use circles or squares or hearts. For example:
3. Fill in each shape with the correct color as in the wheel of color.
4. Label each shape with its hue. (red, yellow blue, etc.)
5. Label each shape according to whether it is a primary, secondary or tertiary color.
6. Place a Word Art or a text box and title your Color Wheel. For example:
7. Be sure that your wheel is centered and balanced on the page.
8. Is your wheel original? Is it creative and attractive?
9. Check the rubric to see that you have completed all of the objectives.
10. Save it in your student drive. The filename is MY COLORWHEEL
11. Do NOT print unless your instructor asks you to print.
