Homepage and Navigation URL

Now that you have learned how to publish a course, to create a homepage, and to align your course settings and homepage to the District style guide, it's time to put all of that into practice in a course of your choice. If you would like to stay focused on Social Studies, you may, but any one of your courses will do (Homeroom, ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, or DLI).

To complete this assignment:

• Publish a course that your students will participate in.
  • Your course navigation should be set according to the District style guide:
    • Home
    • Syllabus
    • Announcements
    • Modules
    • Grades 
  • Your course navigation may include optional links, such as:
    • Pearson Realize
    • Clever Portal
  • Your course should have an attractive, organized, visual homepage that follows the District style guide:
    • Multimedia element
    • Course name
    • Teacher name
    • Welcome message
    • Course Description
    • Online Textbook/Syllabus/Disclosure
    • Schedule
    • Contact information
• Ensure that your students have been added to the course. (This should happen automatically, with the exception of a manually-created course being used for DLI. If you do not see your students in your course, please submit an IT help request via email to footprints@canyonsdistrict.org.) 
• Copy the URL of your course homepage and paste it below as your submission for this assignment.
