Assignment URL

Now that you have learned how to create a Canvas assignment, it's time to create one of your own and have your students complete it. You may create an assignment on any topic in any curriculum area that you will be teaching between now and our next cohort meeting. If you would like to, you may choose to create an assignment connected to the Social Studies standard you have been assigned, but any curriculum topic is acceptable.

To complete this assignment:

• Create and publish an assignment in Canvas that you will have your students complete.
  • Your assignment should include the following:
    • Description -- Explain what you would like the students to do
    • Display Grade As -- Points assigned OR complete/incomplete option
    • Submission Type -- Online (choose whatever types of online entries you would like to allow)
    • Assign To -- Everyone
    • Due Date -- Set a due date of your choice that will allow you to grade before our next cohort meeting
• Have your students complete and submit the assignment online.
• Copy the URL of the assignment and paste it below as your submission for this assignment.
