Windows Desktop Assignment
This assignment will allow you to show how you have customized your Windows 10 desktop in this module.
Assignment Details:
For this assignment, customize your desktop and submit a before and after screenshot.
- Open the start menu on your Windows 10 desktop. Open the action center on your screen so you have both showing on each side of your screen. Take a screenshot of your entire screen and place it on your clipboard.
- Open Microsoft Word and paste the picture of your desktop in the document.
- Customize your start screen using these guidelines:
- pin at least 2 new tiles/apps to your start menu
- resize your start menu to make it larger or smaller
- resize at least one tile
- create and label a new categories of tiles
- move at least one tile into the new category
- (optional) adjust the colors of the start menu
- With the Start menu open, take a second screenshot of your customized menu. Paste the image into the same Word document.
- Submit your Word document with the before and after screenshots below.
