Mrs. Fravel will assign you an animal. In a Google Slides presentation, please research that animal and present its life cycle. You must include the following information:

Taxonomy: Phylum, Class, Order, Genus, species

Description: what does it look like, general group of animals (bird, insect, coral, mammal…etc), and an interesting or fun fact

Habitat and Range: Habitat means what kind of environment(s) does this animal inhabit (i.e. desert, ocean, rain forest, boreal forest/taiga, grassland, tundra, etc). Range is where is it found in the world? (specifically. Northern Africa,Europe, Indonesianreef,Antarctica, etc.)

Is it triploblastic or diploblastic? Protostome or deuterostome? (To find this out, look on your notes where we listed which phyla are which. Or, put the phylum's name and the words "protostome or deuterostome triploblast or diploblast" in the search bar of the google.)

Describe its embryonic development: does it develop in an egg or inside its mother? (Is it oviparous, viviparous, or ovoviviparous?)

Does it have a larval stage and go through metamorphosis? If so, describe and show its larval and metamorphic stages.

If it doesn't have a larval stage and is a direct developer, show its baby, juvenile, and adult phases. What is its general maximum size and how long does it live as an adult?

You must include pictures on each slide.

To submit: Make sure that you share it with me and attach the link here!
