Ecology/habitat activity- Save the birds!

In this activity, you will be looking at some of the impacts humans have on various bird populations and coming up with a brief plan of something YOU could help to mitigate this impact. This plan could be something big or something small, but it has to be something you actually do someday in your future. When describing this plan to me, you must do the following:

1. Clearly tell me what sort of human impact you wish to help mitigate? (Deforestation? Air pollution? Overhunting? Invasive species? something else? There are a whole bunch on my PowerPoint...) 

2. Give me an example of a bird or type of bird that might be impacted by your chosen human impact?

3. Describe your plan and be sure to include at least one action you could actually take to help?

4. Explain the goals of these actions and tell me why you think this plan might help.

I expect this assignment to take around 20-30 minutes and for each of you to turn in about one paragraph worth of information. Your plan doesn't have to be anything extravagant!
