Scan & Organize Your Documents
Scan & Organize Your Documents
Another way to get organized with all your documents is to convert your paper files to digital.
Why Scan Documents?
There are many reasons to convert to digital:
- Get rid of clutter - If your desk looks like a tornado just swept through, chances are just getting everything organized and scanned and off your desktop would make you happier.
- Prepare for disasters - Scanned records can be an integral part of your disaster recovery plan. Scanned documents provide backup copies of your paper vital records in an easily portable digital format.
- Save time! - Think about how much time you spend looking for documents. Document scanning and imaging can greatly reduce the amount of time you spend on filing – leaving you with more time to work on the important stuff.
- Document and file sharing - Wouldn’t it be more productive if everyone had access to all of the “hard” files they needed – without having to pull them, copy them, and then hope they replace them? Of course it would.
- Protect against aging - Digitizing fragile records preserves the integrity of the originals by allowing them to be handled less. And often, the scanning process increases legibility of aging or hard-to-read records.
