Getting Started with Esri ArcGIS Story Mapping
Harness the Power of Maps
Esri believes "Everyone has a story to tell." The concept of story mapping allows people to bring their stories to life through narrative, photos, and images in conjunction with geography.
What is Story Mapping?
Story Mapping is a great way to explore curriculum related content while giving it a geographic location. Adding the map component to storytelling allows students to gain a deeper understanding of what they are learning and how it relates to the world around them.
Watch the video below (0:00 - 1:39). While it is specific to the company MapStory, it still discusses story mapping.
