Google Tour Builder is Google's answer to Story Mapping.


Google Tour Builder


Originally created as a tool for veterans to record their military service, Tour Builder is a tool to explain places you've visited and the story that goes along with it. Tour builder gives users the opportunity to drop placemarks on a Google Earth Map and link pictures, text, and video to share your story and experiences. 

Google Tour Builder requires an account to create a tour. Students and teachers can log in using their CSDDocs account.

 

Using Tour Builder in the Classroom

Teachers can create a Google Tour Builder story map as an activity for students to explore specific content, or have students create them to expand their learning process.

Login to Google Tour Builder Links to an external site. using your CSDDocs account and click on "Gallery" to see what types of tours have been recently created using Google Tour Builder.
