You will be using the Five Aspects of Civilization to describe your Favorite Place on Earth.

Guidelines

Similar to the practice chart you completed about Mesopotamia in Lesson 1, you will be describing your favorite place on earth. This place can be ANYWHERE on Earth - Disneyland, your grandma’s house, Lake Powell, California, your school, a summer camp, etc.   When choosing a location, be sure that all five Aspects can be identified for this location. *You may need to get a little creative. For example, GOVERNMENT might just be who is in charge, what are some rules for that place, and what would happen if you broke the rules...

Refer to the questions that historians ask themselves (Lesson 1) if you get stuck. Try to think of 3-4 ideas for each aspect and record them on the assignment page (download above).

You will also need to insert images into the Google Doc. These can be personal photos you have taken or images from the web.

This assignment will be graded using a 20 point rubric. Check your work before submitting it.
