Week 5 Wrap-up and Looking Ahead

Weekly Wrap-up

This week we: 

1. Looked at the Code of Hammurabi and answered a document-based question (DBQ) by making a claim. 
2. Learned about systems in Mesopotamia: social classes, writing, and bartering. 
3. Identified some of the inventions, technologies, and achievements of the Sumerians.
4. Reviewed and completed the Mesopotamia assessment. 

Looking Ahead

Next week will learn about archaeologists, what tools they use, and what skills they need to study ancient civilizations. We'll use what we learn to begin our unit on ancient Egypt!
