1. Probably the greatest painter and sculptor of the Renaissance, many of Leonardo da Vinci's paintings are widely known. For example, his Mona Lisa is considered the world's most recognizable painting. Skim through the following slides to see a few more of his most famous works of art. 

2. Leonardo da Vinci is known as a great scientist and inventor, but many of his inventions didn't truly come to life until well after his time. Use the link below to take a closer look at some of his sketchbook drawings and see if you identify which invention his drawing eventually turned into!
