I can ask and tell the dates of special days like birthdays and Christmas.

1.Draw a face or picture for each member of your family (including you!) down the left side of a piece of paper.

2. Have a family member help you use the calendar picture in the lesson to find the number that goes with the month of each person's birthday.

3. Next to each person's picture, write the number of the month and the number for their birthdate like this example: 12/22.

4. Use this sentence pattern to read your chart: "My birthday is 12 (month)/22 (day). Dad's birthday is 3 (month/10 (day).
