This unit features classroom instruction that reviews and extends the vocabulary and concepts in whole group and individual instruction settings. We hope this can give your child a taste of what it's like to be in a DLI classroom.

WRITING INTRODUCTION: The first 4 basic writing strokes are also introduced in this unit, within the context of numbers and math lessons. Each stroke has a name that students need to remember as they learn to write in the correct stroke order for each character. Learning stroke names and order is an integral part of the written Chinese language system. Writing worksheets that reinforce these strokes are included in the engagement section, and we hope this next step is a fun one for your student!
