1st Grade In-Classroom Review #2 Overview

Dear Parents,

This is the second In-Classroom Review, which will further expose your child to the classroom environment and additional language that surrounds instruction.  Students have encountered much of the language previously, however this time there is added context and content. The important thing is not to understand every single word, but to try to understand the main points of instruction.

Components of this unit include:

• Introduction of new writing strokes
• Worksheets to practice writing
• Math lesson
• Science lesson
• Introduction to Chinese New Year
