It it important to use the course homepage to communicate course expectations and provide how to documents and videos that can support students in using and navigating the Canvas course.

On the teacher's homepage, the What To Do If You're Absent button, takes students to a Canvas page that provides detailed information about what to do if they are absent.
This content page provides a written description as well as a screencast that was created by the teacher and embedded on the page. This allows students to visually see what the teacher is expecting.

The Disclosure button takes students to a content page that has the class disclosure embedded, and also provides a way to download a copy. The disclosure outlines and describes the class expectations.
The Citizenship Rubric button takes students to a content page that contains the rubric that is used to measure citizenship at Draper Park Middle School.
The Tyr Supply List button takes students to a content page that lists and describes the supplies needed for this class.
The teacher provides a way for students to report chromebook issues they are experiencing. The link provided takes students to a Google Form and asks specific questions that are designed to help troubleshoot the student's chromebook issue.
