Links to Supports for Students and Parents
When using your course homepage to provide important and helpful links for parents and students it can help eliminate questions and misunderstandings. Below are some examples of resources that have been shared on teacher homepages.

The teacher has buttons on her homepage that link to pages that share parent resources and information regarding ways to receive help.
The teacher shares a link to the learning resources curated and shared by the Canyons School District.
The teacher shares link to the Canvas student help guides.
The teacher shared information about the RISE assessment, which normally occurs at this time of year.
The teacher links to her school's website that provides school specific information.

The Help button on the hompage takes students to a Canvas discussion where they can post their questions on assignments and other directions. The teacher checks this discussion and posts her answers Monday - Friday.
The For Parents button on the homepage takes parents to a content page that provides links and other helpful information.
