Links to Supports for Students and Parents

When using your course homepage to provide important and helpful links for parents and students it can help eliminate questions and misunderstandings. Below are some examples of resources that have been shared on teacher homepages.

Red4.pngThe teacher shared information about the RISE assessment, which normally occurs at this time of year.

Example of help and parent resources linked on the canvas hompage

Red1.pngThe Help button on the hompage takes students to a Canvas discussion where they can post their questions on assignments and other directions. The teacher checks this discussion and posts her answers Monday - Friday. 

 

Red2.pngThe For Parents button on the homepage takes parents to a content page that provides links and other helpful information.
