Canva for Education - existing users
These instructions are for users who have a Canva account but the account is under an email other than csddocs.org.
1. Go to www.canva.com Links to an external site. and log in however you have historically logged into Canva. 2. Click on your profile picture icon in the top right corner and select account settings. 3. Click edit next to your email address and change it to your csddocs.org address. (If you get a message that says, an account already exists with that e-mail, contact katie.gebhardt@canyonsdistrict.org for further assistance.) 4. Check your csddocs.org gmail and click verify in the email from Canva.com 5. Log out of Canva Links to an external site. and log back in. |

Hooray! You should now see a Canyons School District Team in your left menu. All previous designs that you created can be found in your personal or class team. |
FAQ for existing users
What if I have a paid Canva account already?
If you have a paid subscription on a Canva team, you can cancel that subscription Links to an external site.at any time. You won’t lose content in those paid teams even when you cancel the subscription. Some designs may acquire watermarks, which will be removed when you copy the designs to the school team using the directions below. Your Canva for Education license covers use related to your educational work, so if you’re using Canva for any other kind of business, you’ll want to retain your paid subscription on a secondary team.
I keep getting an endless spinning wheel when I try to log in. What do I do?
Occasionally, users logging in via Log in with Google get stuck with a spinning wheel. Canva is working to solve this, but in the meantime, the solution is typically to log in using Continue with Email. If that is not successful, try logging out of Google completely and using a different browser. If you are still having difficulties, reach out to katie.gebhardt@canyonsdistrict.org.
How do I move designs from my personal team to my Canyons District Team?
