Using Chromebooks with Canvas
A Chromebook is a lightweight laptop with no moving parts or hard drives that uses the Chrome OS operating system and depends on internet access to reach data and programs that are stored in "the cloud." Chromebooks are significantly less expensive than standard laptops like Windows machines or MacBooks. Although there are many benefits for students and teachers using Chromebooks in the our schools, it is important to understand that their usage relies very heavily on access to wireless internet access.
1. Log into the Chromebook with your district csddocs.org email address and password.
2. Click on the Google Chrome icon in the task bar.
3. Navigate to the Canvas login page by typing canyons.instructure.com in the search bar.
