Canvas Overview for Students & Instructors

Course Creation

Teachers do not create their own courses. Initial courses shell creation is managed by CSD District syncs & uploads. If a course is missing from the course list, please contact your school Ed Tech who will work with IT to let them know there is an issue with your account.

Student Account Creation

If a new student is missing from your course, they will be uploaded (usually) within 48 after they register with Canyons School District. Regularly new students will be added, and students who have moved or left your class will be removed from your courses. If you have questions about the students in your courses, please contact your school Ed Tech.
