Adding Slides Overview
Slides are the real bones of your presentation. The slide tool in Nearpod is quite limited, however. It is best to create your slides using a more powerful tool such as PowerPoint and then easily import them into your presentation. You can add any document in the following formats to your slides:
- .PNG- picture file (screenshots are generated in this format)
- .JPG- picture file
- .PDF- each page will be an individual slide
- .PPT- PowerPoint file (Keynotes will need to be exported as a PowerPoint to work in Nearpod)
- .ZIP file- It will decompress automatically as it's dragged into the presentation, the contents of the .zip file need to be in one of the formats listed above.
**Note that the maximum upload size is 10MB. If your File is too large to be uploaded all at once, you can upload it in parts. One way to do this is to "Save As Pictures" in the File menu of PowerPoint. This will create a folder that contains all of your slides as individual .JPG files. Drag over a few at a time until you have all desired slides in your Nearpod Presentation.
