Project Background:
The Newberry County Career Center has requested that we edited a video presentation that is to be used on the school website. The video presentations are consistent with interviews from various teachers and students that attend the career center.
Your Assignment:
You will be assigned a section of a video presentation to edit into a professional video presentation that that will be combined into one larger video that provides an overview of each program of study that is offered at the career center. This project will be broken into two separate assignment grades; one for the completion of a storyboard and one of the final completed video. Your video montage will need to have the following items completed:
- A completed informational commercial that is not more than 3 to 5 minutes in length per career center class
Please note: You will need to review the video in its entirety and decide if there are areas of the video interview that need to be removed/edited
Video Montage
- Your completed video montage must include the following items
- Title Screen – Worth 25 points
- The teacher interview – Worth 50 points
- 1 to 2 minutes of still images, sound, or video footage ( Student Interview) related to the particular Career Cluster, career field, or class.
- Your completed video must be turned in in the following format:
- 16x9 video ratio
- .MP4 file format

Grading Requirements:
This assignment is worth 100 points and is a major grade; please incorporate the Principles of Design & Art, Multimedia Principles, and the multimedia video information that we has discussed in class to create a video montage that is professional and represents the career center as a professional education center.
Extra Credit:
If your video is used as a part of the career center final video you will be given an extra 50 points for this assignment and an assignment pass that can be used on a future in class assignment
