Module 2.4 - iCloud

 iCloud

iCloud stores and syncs apps, music, photos, videos, documents, and more across all of your iOS and Mac devices. This way you can easily share and access calendars, photos, and other information when switching between devices.

Once you've set up your new Apple ID and iPad, you are automatically logged in to iCloud and receive 5 GB of free storage. If you log in to this same iCloud account on your other Mac and iOS devices (e.g., your iPhone, your Macbook Pro, etc.), any changes you make to synced material will automatically appear on your other devices! For example, if you create a new playlist on your Mac in iTunes, that playlist automatically appears in your music app on your iPad.

You can choose what syncs between your devices by following these steps:

1. Select Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud. (Tip: Here you can also see which devices are using this iCloud account and would sync).

2. Use the toggle switches to decide which information you want to sync.
