Sometimes building an assessment may better suit your needs than using a prebuilt assessment. Remember, when assessing your students you need to ask yourself, "What am I trying to assess?" Then choose only those questions that fit your needs, even if it is only a few.

 

Build a Test

After watching the "Build a Test" video below, go into the Build a Test feature in Reading Street. Search through the question bank by standard and by keyword. 

 

Sometimes, you may create a test but may not assign it right away. Watch the video below to learn how to access the tests you have custom built. 

 

Build a test in Reading Street that you can use in your classroom. When building your test, be sure to click on the box to count towards mastery. Otherwise, it will not show up in your mastery reports, and you will not be able to access the item analysis required for this assignment.
