URL Submissions

Below are the details about the options "Website URL" for assignments.

Students have the option of submitting an assignment completed using another website or online tool.

 

Step 1: Navigate to the desired assignment & click "Submit Assignment."

Step 2: Select the "Website URL" tab.

Step 3: Copy and paste the desired URL into the "Website URL" text box.

Step 4: Leave any necessary comments (optional).

Step 5: Click "Submit Assignment."

Benefits of URL submission:

  • Teachers can see the website as it was when it was submitted, or the most current version.
  • Teachers can see a snapshot of the website without navigating out of Canvas.
  • Students can turn in components of their e-portfolios.
