Module 7.2 - ANALYST Option 2: Assessing with Canvas
Assessing with Canvas
In this module, participants learn how to use assessment tools in Canvas to create formative and summative assessments that guide instruction and indicate student mastery of core concepts.

Teachers who effectively use assessment tools in Canvas are Analysts because they are able to use varied tools to "provide alternative ways for students to demonstrate competency and reflect on their learning using technology." They also "use technology to design and implement a variety of formative and summative assessments that accommodate learner needs, provide timely feedback to students and inform instruction."
