DonorsChoose is one of the easiest ways to be awarded devices/supplies you need for your classroom. The application process is more simple than those for larger grants. You can also keep your requests posted for a long period of time so that anyone who likes your project can contribute. Every once in a while, a business will come along and award all current requests! The Chevron Fuel Your School Links to an external site. program funds thousands of dollars worth of DonorsChoose projects each fall. You don't want to miss out on these opportunities, so create your account today:

Note: Before requesting materials, be sure that those materials, particularly technology devices, are supported by our district.

Step 3:  Look through others' classroom projects to get ideas and see what materials they are requesting. You can look at local projects or see what is going on around the country. Pay attention to how they write their project narratives and how they catch the attention of potential donors.

Step 4:  After navigating the DonorsChoose.org website, including viewing previously funded projects, create a project proposal of your own! If you're not sure how to go about posting a project, check out the Donors Choose Help Center Links to an external site..

Step 5: It is important to advertise your DonorsChoose project. If you have a class website, it's a good place to post a link to your DonorsChoose project. Many teachers put a link to their project in the signature of their school email. This is a great way to let parents know what you need in your classroom. You could also post about your project on social media.
