Lesson 5.2: Mini Research Project-Assessment

Directions

1. Make a copy of this Google Slides. Links to an external site. Rename it with the name of the civilization you picked to research. 
2. You may change the themes and font if you would like! Make sure the colors are clear, and the words are big enough to read. Pick a simple font and colors that go together. Here is an example. Links to an external site.
3. Open World Book Online. Links to an external site. Use the digital book on your research topic to answer the questions on the slide show!
   • for login information email scott.lambert@canyonsdistrict.org.
   • Click the "E books" option
   • Click "Cultures of the World" at the top, or search your topic in the search bar.
   • Find the e book on your research topic, use it to answer the questions on your slide show!
   • Hint: see the tutorial video on the last page for help!
4. Add at least one picture to each slide!

• Put your topic and your name on the first slide
• Answer all of the questions, using World Book Online
• Add at least one picture to each slide
• Cite your source on the last slide
• Use colors and fonts that are clear and easy to see and read
