Weekly Outline: Inference

Introduction to the Module Instruction

Now you know all about how an author sets up a story with a plot diagram. This week you will learn how to be a better reader. In science you have probably heard about making an hypothesis, or an educated guess. When you are watching movies or reading a story you are naturally making lots of educated guesses about what is happening. This is called making an inference. This week you will become a detective as you analyze pictures and prompts to figure out what is happening in a story as you make inferences.

Don't forget to open your INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK! You will want to take notes!! (remember: it is in your Google Drive)
