Quarter 2 Week 3 Overview
Introduction to the Module Instruction
Last week you learned and practice how to cite sources to improve your informational paragraphs. This week you are going to do one more practice informational paragraph before you take the DWSBA. This is a district writing test. It is done through Canvas and you will have 90 minutes to write a well thought out paragraph about earthquakes with the information provided.
Learning Intentions
This week I will practice reading a short story and answering comprehension questions so that I can better understand what I am reading.
I will take a quiz on the short story I read.
I will complete the DWSBA.
Standards
W.6.6 Use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing as well as to interact and collaborate with others;
W.6.8 Gather relevant information from multiple print and digital sources; assess the credibility of each source; and quote or paraphrase the data and conclusions of others while avoiding plagiarism and providing basic bibliographic information for sources

Success Criteria
I know I am successful when:

- I have scored an 80% or higher on the Ta-Na-E-Ka Reading Questions
- Write an informational paragraph about the short story with at least 80% accuracy
- Demonstrate 80% accuracy on the Ta-Na-E-Ka Quiz
- Complete the DWSBA writing test
