Dear Parents,

The Utah State Board of Education has coordinated the development of these courses for students participating in DLI. Courses are available for K-8 students in Chinese, French, and Spanish. Each course has been developed in Canvas and is organized by weekly modules. Modules include:

3-4 lessons ranging from 15-60 minutes

Lesson times will gradually increase to a full hour of engagement with the language
The lessons were designed to be independent and asynchronous (with the exception of secondary Chinese courses--these courses will be led by a Chinese teacher)

Lesson content includes highly supportive tutorials and practice activities
Modules will continue to be added each month throughout the school year
